It has long been recognized that OCAD University alumni go on to diverse and successful careers often with significant economic, cultural and social impact. With the launch of the OCAD University Alumni of Influence Award, their success will be formally acknowledged and celebrated within the University, Canada and internationally.

This prestigious program celebrates the OCAD U communities most accomplished and recognized alumni for their outstanding professional and artistic achievements as well as their service to the community. Nominated by their peers and selected by a jury including alumni, faculty and staff, five award recipients will demonstrate excellence in a diverse range of fields including art, design, media, business, science, humanities, medicine, education or public service at home and abroad.

Nominations are open until January 9, 2015. I hope you join me in welcoming our new program and celebrating our first recipients at GradEx 100 in May 2015. This exciting new program is possible with support from our generous sponsor, TD Insurance.
