I am a visual alchemist whose work weaves joy, symbolism, and a sense of quiet magic into richly layered compositions. A graduate of the Ontario College of Art (OCADU) in Toronto, Canada, I have built a creative practice spanning fine art, multimedia design, digital art, and public art.
My work is infused with vibrant colour, ancient patterning, ornate textures, and storytelling. Through acrylic, mixed media, and digital media, I explore themes of the divine feminine, resilience, spirituality, and inner transformation. At the heart of my practice is a belief in the power of art to create moments of reflection, connection, and wonder.
Over the years, my practice has naturally expanded beyond the canvas. My love of gardening and nature led me to complete an Advanced Diploma in Landscape Design, opening a new creative territory where art, nature, and spatial experience intersect. My work in murals, public art, and environmental design has allowed me to bring colour, symbolism, and beauty into shared spaces.
I am now continuing this exploration through studies in Environment, Resources and Sustainability at the University of Waterloo. This new chapter is deepening my understanding of ecological systems, environmental change, sustainability, and the relationship between people and place.
I am increasingly interested in the landscape as a living canvas – one in which planting, materials, pattern, culture, ecology, and sensory experience come together. Rather than leaving art behind, I see this as an expansion of the canvas itself: from the painted surface into gardens, landscapes, and public spaces that can nurture both people and ecosystems.
My work has been featured in the Canada Council Art Bank since 1989 and is held in private collections internationally. Alongside my studio and public art practice, I have work ed as a Creative Experience Guide, facilitating meditative painting experiences that incorporate sacred symbolism and themes of balance, abundance, and personal reflection.
My journey continues to evolve at the intersection of art, nature, sustainability, and place. I am curious about what becomes possible when creativity is used not only to make beautiful images, but to help shape meaningful, restorative, and ecologically thoughtful environments.
